Types of Couplings

Mechanical

The mechanical coupling is an important component in power transmission systems. These couplings come in various forms and can be used in different types of applications. The simplest type of mechanical coupling is the sleeve coupling. It consists of a cylindrical sleeve with an internal diameter equal to the diameter of the shafts. This type of coupling is typically used for medium to light-duty torque.
